I’ve sent my Canon 60D , my 50L, and my 28-70L for service today. A bit sad, but I don’t think I have any choice left. The 50L in my possession doesn’t quite live up to it’s name. (Most of the time..)
When it’s sharp, it is SO sharp that it bleeds you eyes.
The bokeh, is just out of this world. So beautifully creamy.
But to get that kind of results, needs quite a work. You see, my 50L is suffering a defect. It’s backfocussing a bit.
To get something in perfect focus, i need to turn the focus ring manually a bit, each time I press the shutter button (halfway down). Which is troublesome.
So I contacted Canon Japan, and they advised me to send the lens, and my 60D, together with my other lens to them so that they can check and perhaps repair the defect.
For the time being, I’ll keep shooting with my trustworthy Nokia N8.
