First time shooting a live performance

live, a photo by kamuscasio on Flickr.

50L performs quite nicely in low light. The details are amazing, the colours, and the bokeh!! Eventhough the fringing problem is still quite an eye sore. But that’s ok, I guess.
This particular pic was shot at f1.2 wide open, with ISO 100. Turns out wayyyy better than I expected. Certainly the focussing issue has been resolved somehow by Canon. So guys, if you have any backfocussing problem with your copy of EF 50mm f1.2 L lens, just send them to Canon for some servicing.

BTW, this was my first attempt at photographing a live band with a DSLR.
